Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process of working with new clients completely depends on the needs of the project. Weddings include a bridal preview, require a down payment and I may bring a crew with me. Photo or film work revolves around the timing of the shoot and prices depend on location and artistry type. Special events are are booked in like any other salon appointment and charged after the application. Etc etc. I'm really flexible and easy to work with.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I really like most to work with the client and come up with pricing according to project, need, location and artistry type.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always had a passion for makeup artistry in all aspects. From friends and their weddings to fashion shows for portfolio photos, I have managed to grow, progress and even teach this art!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings, indie films, editorial shoots, fashion shows, body painting, artistic projects, makeovers, gallery collections, calendar prints, tv shows, and many more.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When looking for a makeup artist, take a look through their portfolio. Make sure that there are different subjects throughout and not just photos af the makeup artist him or herself. Know the level of skill but most importantly experience of the artist you are working with.
