About
I am a indoor and outdoor mobile Photographer. Communication is key in having a successful photo session. I listen to my clients desires. I put myself in my clients shoes once I get to know them either by Zoom, FaceTime or phone call prior to our session.
Photography is a special, intimate and the memories will last a lifetime. I am honored to be chosen to photograph these special moments whether it be photographing families, weddings, birthdays, engagement/couples, newborn, maternity, nature, etc.
I have been a Photographer since high school. I was the youngest person to ever be accepted into Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. I was a junior in high school at the time.
90% of Brooks Institute graduates went on to work for National Geographic and travelled a great amount of time. I started my family so I decided to attend Nursing School and vowed that once my children were grown, I would pursue my passion so here I am!
I have always freelanced over the years but now I am full time Photographer and I am in my happy place. Nothing makes me happier then seeing my clients eyes gleam with excitement and are genuine happy with my professional experience.
A lot has changed with the digital age. I miss developing and processing my own film. I would lose count of how many hours I spent in my darkroom that my parents built and invested for me at our family home in Seattle.
Enough about me though, if you are needing a passionate, dedicated and honest Photographer, message me!
I offer 100% satisfaction guarantee!

Bed of Roses Photography 🌹
Making people happy and bringing out the personality of each of my clients I am photographing. A photo is cherished forever so I take on the responsibility of bringing out that spark in everyone's personality and smile so when future generations looks at that photo, they know simply by looking at a picture that it was a magical moment for their loved ones 🌹
My online website is currently under construction but I welcome you to check out my Facebook page "Bed of Roses Photography."
I do have multiple photographs of past clients posted on my Facebook business page but due to client confidentiality, I do not post all of my work.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients prior to our photo session so I offer a free consult either by Zoom, FaceTime or a phone call about a week prior to the photo session. This communication gives each party a chance to ask questions, understand do's and dont's my clients desire as well as, my clients can ask me questions. Communication is key when it comes to a successful photo session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Brooks Institute if Photography in Santa Barbara, California in 1995. I was accepted as a junior in high school. I did not immediately pursue my dream as I became pregnant and started my family. I went to Nursing school and had been in healthcare profession for 21 years. I worked as a nurse and for the last 3 years of my career in healthcare I successfully managed a Psychiatric Office in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Throughout the years, I have always continued to do freelance photography. I photographed many senior portrait sessions, small weddings, families and children/newborn.
Now that my children are older, I am now photographer full-time. I love what I do. It's my passion, my heart and soul 🌹
How did you get started in this business?
I realized my passion for photography in high school (1992) to be exact. I would lose time in the darkroom. I photographed, developed and printed my own photographs. My parents thought at first I had found a very expensive hobby but when I sent in my portfolio in my junior year of high school to a prestigious photography college in Santa Barbara, California and was accepted, they realized this wasn't just a hobby. The rest is history!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have experience working with families, children, maternity, newborns, high school & college graduates, engagement and or couples, nature, real estate and wedding photography. I have an indoor professional studio that I work in, as well as I love taking outdoor photographs.
I am also available for events where I photograph candids as well as I set up my mobile indoor studio at the event to photograph guests. It's always a blast!
