What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A shot list is the best place to start discussing a new project, in order to know what the client is looking for and be able to create an accurate estimate of costs involved. If the client is unsure what their shot list might entail, a quick phone conversation can be helpful to discuss the objectives and goals of marketing efforts.

I have a degree in commercial photography, as well as several years experience working in another catalog photography studios before opening my own business.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing has remain the same for over 15 years, based on an itemized estimate form applying client shot list information and my standardized rates.
How did you get started in this business?
Prior to getting my degree in commercial photography, I actually went through a middle school photography program for three years which was college level. We were doing color processing and printing, Ansel Adams zone system black-and-white development and printing, artificial lighting of products, as well as using 4 x 5 view camera techniques. During college and immediately after, I assisted commercial photographers in Seattle.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have JPEG samples from successful projects with a wide variety of clients, including graphic designers, advertising agencies, product manufacturers, industrial manufacturers, food industry, and multi-family and other architectural customers.
