What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial contact, I forward our current menus and documents. I also like to try and set some time aside to connect with the guest to get a better rounded idea of what their vision and expectations are for their event. If at all possible, I try to set up a tasting if it is fitting to our schedules. After discussing details of service and menu items, I usually write up multiple quotes to give options and choices. Occasionally I will visit the venue of the event to get comfortable with my surroundings. I follow up multiple times to ensure my customers are comfortable and have no other needs as thier event approaches.
