I specialize in outdoor portraits, working with your personality to make your images unique to you. Let me know the type of feel you want in your image - beach, woods, urban - once we find the perfect spot to meet we will just play for an hour or so to get the perfect image! Meeting new people and learning about their lives is one of the most enjoyable aspects of this type of work. I also love being outdoors and discovering various locations, finding interesting lighting, architecture and structures to use in images. My goal during our time together is to tell your story in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Your images will be edited and available as prints, flash drive or e-images.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we find a mutally agreeable date and venue. I'm happy to give guidance concerning clothing choices, bringing props and furry babies. During the sitting session, I spend as much time needed to get the image desired. I then do a "light" edit and send proofs electronically. I love meeting with clients after our session to go over their images and make their selections together - we can play with them, change to black and white, crop, etc. so they can see exactly how the final image will look. Then, I can either print, put on a flash drive or send as an e-image.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although I attended Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle, my best training was as a mother with a camera glued to my face as my children grew up! I continue to attend seminars as the industry changes - there's always something new to learn!
