I like photographing people, and involving them in the process. When you can capture a moment or get them to feel comfortable in front of a lens and photograph them at their most natural feels great.
My day job is serving our nation, and I love that it takes me all over the world and provides me the opportunity to photograph many different cultures and landscapes. Despite our differences, humans all have the same worries.

I've always been engaged in art in some form, though most of it has been traditional media. I've only recently started getting more involved with digital media.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at the portfolio and make sure your personalities are compatible, and that the photographer listens to what you want. But also be willing to take direction from your photographer and be open to trying new things.
