About
To me, makeup is such an amazing tool. I don’t think anyone should use makeup as validation to whether they are beautiful or not, because we are all gorgeous in own ways, but there is nothing wrong with enhancing your God given beauty! I am always looking at makeup photos for inspiration. Although I love classic styles, I am more than capable to exicute current trends! Makeup is my passion, and it is my art.
I have always been a makeup lover. I started playing with makeup at a super young age, but wasn’t actually allowed to wear it out of the house until I was around 14. So as you can imagine, once I got the “okay” I went crazy and tried EVERYTHING! (there were a few questionable styles if I must say) I just love how you can create an extravagant detailed look one day, or something super light and natural another day, and it literally just wipes off. Makeup is such a fun way to express yourself!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before working with a new client, I like to get a little background on them. I ask basic questions about their skin type or if they have any allergies. Then I find out what the occasion is that they are wanting their makeup done. I also ask what their everyday makeup routine is so that I get a feel of how much makeup they are comfortable in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licened makeup artist. I received my license in 2013 from the Artistry Beauty Studio in Santa Clara, CA, and worked with them from 2013-2015. During that time, I mostly did makeup for fashion shows and weddings, but also for headshots, proms, and any other formal events. I became an independent artist in 2015, and have been doing freelance work part time ever since.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing varys from $60-$90 depending on your request. I have a more detailed pricing system on my website and facebook page.
How did you get started in this business?
Like previously mentioned, I've always been a makeup lover, and would frequently practice on myself. During my sophomore year in college, I wanted to take makeup artistry a little more seriously, so I got my license and the rest was history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all sorts of clients! From 12 year olds going to their first middle school dance to more mature ladies wanting to look special for a night out with their honey! I've also dabbled in drag makeup, and would LOVE to perfect my skills.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look around and ask lots of questions! It is important to express exactly what you're looking for when it comes to makeup.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Anything really! Ask as many questions as you want. Speaking for myself, I make sure to ask tons of questions so that I know exactly what my client wants. The more questions the better. A few important ones questions to ask are: travel expenses, appointment lengths, and cancellation policies.
