Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Most clients prefer and I support offering a fixed price, because this removes the uncertainty of what an assignment might cost the client. In my experience, when a client is worrying about an hourly rate, they are focused on the clock, not the creative and that's not good.
Offering a fixed price means the client has to provide the information necessary to build a bid and that means from the beginning the client and I must build a trusting relationship. When we do this, the results are magical.
