FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I personally prefer to talk with a new client and get to know them, their style, and what they are looking for as an end result of their portraits. I like to know what makes them feel comfortable, and what they enjoy doing! Specific hobbies an locations they favor help make a great session to capture a true look for someone and/or their family.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've completed several in person and online courses, as well as working as a second shooter for wedding photography. Working with the camera, different settings, and lighting is truly what makes a professional, trial and error until finding the perfect look! Working with many different subjects and creating amazing end results for them is also a true test of what it takes to be a reputable photographer.

How did you get started in this business?

I have been interested in photographer since I was a teenager, and began taking courses as an adult. I was lucky enough to get to work as a second shooter with a reputable and very outstanding wedding photographer, and am now working on my own.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with customers ranging from children, teens, adults, families, engagements, weddings and anniversaries! Even some pets!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Feeling comfortable on a personable level is the most important thing when deciding on a photographer. The photographer should understand YOU, and what your portrait desires are. You should feel comfortable expressing your wants, needs, as well as how you envision your portraits if different than what the photographer describes. Understanding each other makes for true to self sessions, and outstanding end results!!
