Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We email, text or have a phone call to discuss details. I try to find out what type of shoot they are looking for or need, their location and availability.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was on the yearbook team for 6 years, created the counties first cd yearbook and then trained others on Adobe. I also trained and helped develop a small paper business with taking pictures and editing.
How did you get started in this business?
I started taking when I was in grade school on an old 35mm Minolta. I then joined the yearbook team in 7th grade and did that for 6 yrs. After I got out of the military, I started taking photos for friends and family. I was told that I needed to step up and make a career out of it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with families, people needing/wanting portraits and elopements. I don't discriminate. We are all one.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The elopement I shot just the other day. The love and excitement from both the bride and groom was amazing! The looks in their eyes when the looked at each other made the whole shoot.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What type of photos are you looking for? Do you have a location picked out already and permits filled out and paid for? Do you want post editing done and how much does it cost?
