What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with them usually at a coffee shop, or somewhere local and of course introduce myself, and start asking questions about their day, how they met, etc. Or, in the beginning, I may talk with them on the phone, get a little information, and then meet up with them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked with professionals for 2 years before I went out on my own. Plus, I teach myself a lot from seeing other photographers work from different sites. Mind you, I have over 20 years of experience in photographing weddings and all other types of events.

Since 1997, I’ve been making beautiful photographs for couples all around this area. Now, it’s your chance to get a piece of history, Memories:
All day photography (8-9 hours), including 1 hour before ceremony; ceremony and formals, and (most highly recommended: The Park). You will receive a $500 credit towards your photographs of your choice.
I will give you photographs on a dvd of the wedding. So, go ahead and post them on facebook! Photos will have copy write on them as well.
This package will have all of the photographs on my website for 30 days. Then, it will be removed.
Engagements are complementary in this package.
Also, included: Online Proofing/ordering for 30 days past wedding day.
Which will include a print credit of $100 of your choice of 1- 16x20.

Mainly couples. But, I have worked with families for family portraiture, children's graduations, etc.

Wow! That's a question there! I have had so many experiences with so many different types of people, different types of venues, etc.
The bottom line is this: I want to make you feel very special, more than "expected" type appreciation.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone that you like!
Really? Yes!
If the work he/she has is awesome, but he/she is a real jerk and not wanting to work with you is not something that usually get's better.
Listen to your heart.
Ask a lot of questions to the professional about what their style is, how long they've been doing this, how he/she feels about traveling, etc.
