What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Hi there
We try to do a consult, either by phone or in person. We make a plan for whatever we are going to do. Once we have a firm game plan then we make a date for the shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of PPA with that I am always taking classes or workshops to improve my skillset. I also mentor young photographers, that also helps me to get better.

How did you get started in this business?
When I was 11 the nuns told my mom to get me a hobby because I made them crazy. When I was in the Marines I bought my first 35 mm. I had pictures published in Stars and Stripes when I served in Asia.
When I got out of the Marines, I had a lot of mentors that helped he when I was new.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We had a wedding in Jerome Arizona, it was small and intimate and we had a blast. On the other end of the spectrum, high school football just started and we had fun meeting the new team yesterday. A few months ago I was contacted by TLC to shoot the promo's for the upcoming season of Sister Wives. These pictures were and are featured in national magazines and social media.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Quality and experience is better than fast and cheap. Make sure that you click with the photographer as you will be spending a lot of time together.
