We focus on being as authentic as possible. We felt that there were too many versions of tamales or authentic Mexican cuisine here in the valley, but not one had the flavors, nor the texture of an authentic tamale or dish. Some of our clients have said that when they try our tamales or any of our dishes it reminds them of their grandma’s or mom’s cooking, and that’s what we’re looking for in every bite. We don’t cut any corners when it comes to making authentic Mexican cuisine. Everything that goes into making any dish is made with love! Using nothing but the best ingredients in the market. From the preparation of the masa to the preparation of the guisados that will make a great meal. We look forward to serving you at your next event.

Tamales y Tacos Puebla is a family run business that has been in business since 2012. We specialize in authentic Mexican cuisine from the great state of Puebla, Mexico. We use traditional home recipes that have been passed down from generations to generations. Both my wife and I have combined our talents and recipes in the kitchen and we have perfected every recipe in our menu. One of our favorite recipes, is our recipe to make tamales. The recipe of our tamales is rich in flavor. From the rich texture of the masa to the bold flavors of the guisados for the tamales. Every single item is our menu is made with love and attention to detail.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers call or send us a written request. We provide a an estimate based on the customer's needs or wants. We're very flexible to work with and we can customize any menu to the customer's specifications. 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book any event. Remaining balance is due at the time of event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
•32 yrs of experience. Cooking with grandma since I was a 10 yrs old.
•ASU alumni, 1st Place winner in 2019 competing against other Chefs.
•Best of Phoenix 2016
•Grade A inspections throughout our career in the food industry.

Prices are pretty much set for the most part, but differ on customers needs or wants.
How did you get started in this business?
We wanted to be our own boss so went for it!! We started after being laid off from a fortune 500 company. I had the management background on how to run a successful business after working different management jobs.
