Chef Halihl Guy's Catering is a full-service catering company that provides exceptional food service throughout San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma, and the surrounding Bay Area.
Our exquisite services include complete event planning for weddings, banquets, corporate events, private parties, and home events.
If there is something you prefer that is not on the menu, please ask. We love to create new menus and do it all year long.
As a Personal Chef and Caterer for over a decade, Chef Halihl loves creating healthy dishes and recipes for his clients. His personal commitment to his business and clients is to continue to learn and study the relationship between food, health, and nutrition.

Chef Halihl attended Le Cordon Bleu, a classical French culinary school in San Fransisco. He graduated with a Degree in Culinary Arts in Spring 2011.

There is no standard pricing, we create opportunities for our clients to create their own budget, that is comfortable for them.
How did you get started in this business?
At a young age, Chef Halihl Guy had a passion for food. His African-American ancestry and family southern culture passed on a love for food and cooking. At family gatherings, Chef Halihl has always been in the kitchen right alongside the elders in the family and is now always the one in the kitchen providing delicious meals for his family and close friends.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Chef Halihl uses his culinary talents and skills to give back by providing meals and healthy cooking for the underpriveledge. He partners with several nonprofit agencies including Rafiki Coalition in San Francisco whose focus is to strongly advocate for reducing health disparities in the underserved communities in the city. Chef Halihl also works with the Oakland Unity Council whose mission is to promote social equity and improve quality of life by building vibrant communities where everyone can work, learn, and thrive.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Take your time and select a professional that fits your specific needs in regards to the event your planning.
