I sat in an Authentic Lens session with Julleye and truthfully, I didnt know what I was getting into. At first, I thought well I post on Instagram so Im probably pretty comfortable with being seen. What Julie helped me uncover is that Ive actually been hiding behind baggy clothing and sunglasses MY WHOLE LIFE. Her skill to acknowledge the potential for cameras to be seen as phallic and masculine and penetrative and do the skilled dance, bringing the camera to the space as a Divine Masculine presence is nothing short of brilliant. I am still so moved by my experience and reflect back on it when I go to post a photo or feel like I dont like a photo of myself. Authentic Lens was an incredible experience, hosted by an incredible facilitator and ritualist. Julie is integrity. I felt so held and secure with her. I highly HIGHLY recommend including an Authentic Lens session with her for ANY event that you are taking photographs for. It will open up your whole group AND the photos that you get will be all the more authentic and loved.

The guidance was thoughtful, careful, powerful, and thorough. The resulting images are captivating and convey just what we intended. It was my first photo shoot and the entire experience was more beautiful (and comfortable) than I imagined one could be.
