VC Gourmet

My name is Valarie and I have been a professional in the food service industry for 17 + years. My area of expertise is customer relations, fine dining cuisine, event planning, catering, artisan cocktails and wine knowledge (grade II Sommelier). I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of different areas of culinary, both front and back of the house service. Private Chef for the rich and famous, owning my own restaurant and catering company, working in high end restaurants around the world. I earned my master’s degree in Italy.

I have a passion for teaching, cooking and serving. Delivering top shelf customer service while being a team player for my coworkers and management team. I enjoy serving and I am very good at it. I know most POS systems and I am a quick study for new systems and/or information needed our required for this position. I am a hard worker who gets along everyone. I have been a full-time college professor for the hospitality industry for over 10 +years. Teaching culinary as well as Business administration.
