Jonathen E. Davis, a field-tested photographer and videographer, has been recognized as one of the Department of Defense's extraordinary visual documentators. Jon's work has appeared on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, National Geographic, Outside Magazine, and Military Times. Jon has been perfecting the art of visual storytelling for more than 15 years, combining technical expertise in digital and film with a polished finish. From grassroots outreach media to data collection to reflecting clients needs, Jon captures the uniqueness of each organization he shoots, rendering it with engaging visuals with a backbone of evocative storytelling.

Jon joined the U.S. Navy as a journalist and worked his way up to the elite rank of Expeditionary Combat Camera. He traveled the world, capturing combat, humanitarian, and disaster relief efforts. Having completed 7 years in the military he left the service to complete a bachelor's degree in visual journalism from the Brooks Institute, with an internship as a marine mammal identification photographer for the Aquarium of the Pacific. He has since completed a short environmental documentary Fading Stars, which was selected for the Santa Monica Independent Film festival and screened at California State University Long Beach. He has also continued to document global disasters for the non-profit organization Team Rubicon.

In addition to documentary film and photography, Jon photographs corporate events and headshots; aerial photography and videography; product photography; real estate photography and 3D interior mapping; and underwater imagery.

He is a PADI Master SCUBA Diver Trainer, is wilderness first aid certified, and is a Part 107 FAA certified drone pilot.
