Colson Photography

Hi, my name is Walter Colson, and I’m a photographer with experience shooting both freelance and personal portfolio work. Photography started as something I picked up in school, but it quickly became something I genuinely love and take seriously. Since then I’ve continued building my skills through hands-on experience, working with clients, and growing my portfolio while also sharing my work through my Instagram photography page.

Working with me is a very relaxed and welcoming experience. I know being in front of a camera can feel uncomfortable or intimidating for a lot of people, so I focus on creating an environment where clients feel comfortable, confident, and able to be themselves. I’m very personable, easy to communicate with, and I make it a priority to listen to what each client wants so they feel seen and understood throughout the shoot.

What matters most to me is making sure every client leaves feeling happy with both the experience and the final images. I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure expectations are met—or exceeded. Whether that means helping with posing, adapting to the client’s vision, or finding creative solutions in the moment, I do everything I can to make people feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely excited about their photos.

I believe I’d do an excellent job because I care deeply about both the quality of the work and the experience behind it. To me, great photography is not just about taking a strong image—it’s also about building trust with the person in front of the camera and creating something they feel proud of afterward.
