I am Puerto Rican and I was blown away by my experience. Finding truly authentic Puerto Rican food outside of the island can be a challenge, but Latina with flavor surpassed my expectations. The flavor is spot on from the regular empanadas to the vegan empanadas it was a celebration of flavor with each bite. The pernil was tender and flavorful as well as the gandules. If you want true Puerto Rican food, Latina with flavor is my recommendation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a conversation with them and ask questions as to their catering needs. I try and get as much information as possible so that I can accomodate as needed.

Normally, the specials I have are for 10 people minimum. Depending on what they order. Most specials are $180.00 for 10 people
How did you get started in this business?
This is a family owned business and recipes are from my Grandmother and Mother. I have been in this business all of my life.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers. I have worked for Spanish Heritage for a very popular DJ. Also, worked on site for a very popular Chef and his staff while filming a reality show.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I loved working for people that appreciate good food.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Sometimes people want food that is cheap and rather not pay for good, home cooked, fresh meals. Quality v. Quantity. I provide both.
