As an Officiate, we are here to help you create your perfect wedding ceremony. From learning about you and your fiancé, to what your visions are, we can help you with writing your vows if you need, then I will perform your ceremony, sign your license and then file them to the proper court... we are here for you. There is more than just being a person who stands in front of you to unite you in marriage. We are proud to service anyone, we will not turn anyone away due to race or religious beliefs. We are LBGTQ friendly. With KV Events & Photography your ceremony will be unique and personal. We treat you as family and take interest in your needs and ideas. Whether you are having a small private wedding, or a big traditional wedding we can provide you with the ceremony that will be meaningful and remembered by your family and guests.
Our Photographers will capture your day as well as emotions and beauty. They find the details in everything, whether it be the bride's special moment with her father or the candles on the reception table, maybe a child dancing by themselves, or something meaningful on the brides bouquet; we capture those moments. We specialize in weddings, family portraits, and those favorite "family on the beach" shots. We want you to love us for our work and personalities.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Meet with the couple if requested, to discuss their ideas.
2. Create and sign contract with a Non-refunable Retainer Fee.
3. Phone and email consults through out the planning period.
4. Send personalized questionaires to each partner to make their ceremony personal and unique.
5. Send rough draft to the couple for approval.
6. Attend Rehearsal if needed.
7. Attend wedding, sign license, leave ceremony keepsake with the couple and if invited will stay for reception.
8. File license with proper court.
9. Most important stay in touch with the couple after the wedding.

30 minutes Weekday * $125
Short and Sweet Ceremony for the couple. Monday through Thursday.
Includes use of a Silk Bridal Bouquet & Boutonniere, Ceremony and License Signing and Filing.

Wedding Rehearsal
1 hour (Monday – Thursday) $75
I will gladly attend your Rehearsal Monday- Thursday for up to 1 hour. Travel fees may be added depending on distance.
1 hour (Friday – Sunday) $100
I will gladly attend your Rehearsal Friday – Sunday for up to 1 hour. Travel fees may be added depending on distance.
Wedding / Vow Renewal Ceremony $175
Personalized Ceremony at your Venue with a Marriage License Signing and Filing of License
Travel fees may apply depending on distance.
Reception Blessing $50
I would be honored to stay for the Reception and give a personalized Blessing before the meal. If I am invited before hand to the reception this service will be free of charge. I will have an assistant with me so be sure to include 2 for your guest list when preparing your count for the reception.
Traveling Wedding Officiant
E-mail or Message me with your venue location, Date and Time for a quote. I serve All of Mississippi, Southwest and Southeast Alabama and Southwest Florida. I am licensed to Marry anywhere in the USA and I do have my Passport ready.
Officiate & Photography Package * $600.00
This Officiate/ Photography Package will include photographic coverage of the ceremony up to 2 hours; as well as the Officiate Services.

How did you get started in this business?
I have always love Weddings and Photography. I am a romantic at heart! My best friend who is now our photographer was getting married and she didn't know anyone who could perform their ceremony. One thing lead to another and my husband performed their ceremony. VIckie and I though there was other couples like her, and that we could make their dreams come a reality as well. So, our enjoyment became a reality at the same time as making other couples dreams come true.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with young couples as well as elderly. Love gives everyone second chances. I have worked with couples who have been married for years and want to renew their vows. Same sex couples both male and female weddings, commitment ceremonies. Military Ceremonies or Elopements. I have performed ceremonies at private homes, on the beach, in parks, at venues and even in resturants while sitting at the table. I have no limits to what couples perfer in a ceremony as long as they take this seriously and is in good taste.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The most recent event I am fond of is giving a ceremony for a couple that have known each other many years. Although their lifes took different paths, they ended up meeting each other after 40 years and they finally were able to join their life together. There wasn't a dry eye during the ceremony and it was hard for me to stay collected knwoing what they both had gone through to get to this moment of their life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
There are lots of Officiants in our area and each one has their style and expertise. Do not choose the first one you see! Ask questions, be sure they are what you want and that they are willing to do what you wish for your ceremony. WHether you are having a small intamite wedding or a big celebration, this is your day, a day that you will remember forever. I would love to have the honor to help you and make your ceremony memorable just the way you wish.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is important to you? Do you want a Religious or Non-Religious Ceremony? Do you want help writing your Vows, or are your wanting to repeat vows after the Officiant? What kind of traditions do you want included in your ceremony? Will your Officiant help you and be there for you if advice is needed or encouragement during the process leading to your wedding day? Will you need an Offciant at your Rehearsal? Is the Officiant knowledgeable with Same Sex Weddings and comfortable performing them? Be sure to ask anything and everything you can think of. this is how you know if you have choosen the right officiant for your ceremony. I always tell my couples... No question is a dumb question unless you do not ask it.
