About
My name is Meredith, and when you book Pink Clipboard Events, you book me! I'm the person you'll work with from start to finish, and I want to plan your ideal event, within any budget! There is nothing better than making your vision a reality!
I have been planning events for friends and family for the past 15 years but started my own business the years ago! I have a passion for events and it never feels like work! In my day job, I plan trips, meetings and events for a local financial firm. Clients of Pink Clipboard include some local organizations for which I have done multiple fundraising events. I have also planned weddings, showers, retirement parties, and themed events!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have an initial conversation with a pectoral client to learn as much as I can about the event and the vision the client has for that special day! I also like to get an idea of the budget I'm working with so I can provide the client with logical suggestions that will work for them, rather than spitballing ideas that aren't feasible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as an adminstrative assistant, planning meetings and events for over 15 years. I have also worked as freelance event staff, and planned many events for friends and family. I've also, most recently, planned multiple fundraising events for a local library.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I like to base my pricing on the event, the client, and the intricacies of the services required of me. For that reason, I always have an initial conversation with a client before finalizing a quote.
How did you get started in this business?
I was always asked for help with planning events by my friend and family! One day, I decided to make it a reality to do what I love as a business!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all sorts of people, from corporations and local organizations, to couples in love!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently did a fundraising gala for a local organization. It was reading money for an addition to their building, as will as celebrating a milestone anniversary! I implemented a Back-to-the-Future theme, and it was a huge hit! It sparked a lot of conversation, raised a lot of money, and everyone had a blast!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be honest with your vendors as to what you want, and how much you have to spend on it! In order to get what you want, you need to be able to discuss the options and make honest decisions that work for your vision and budget!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is it that you envision for your event? Whether it's a broad idea of mine details, if you see something in your head, speak up so that your vendors have the chance to make it a reality!!
