With the Covid-19 pandemic upon us, it certainly is a challenge being an Event Photographer as events of all kinds are literally non-existent. Moving forward with my photography, I am now directing my efforts to concentrate on Business and Professional Head Shots, Food and Product Photography, and small, intimate Weddings. I work with individuals and businesses - large and small - to satisfy their requirements for Head Shot photography. In the days leading up to their event or photography request date, I work closely with the client to understand the event schedule and timing, the important people in attendance, the "must-have" photos, the style of head shots or portraits, and what kinds of food I will get to photograph. I feel I have an excellent ability for capturing the essence of any event through candid and posed photos. My friendly and outgoing personality puts people at ease when I ask to take their photograph. I am a very patient photographer, and will wait for the right moment for that perfect candid photo. All of this leads to the important end result: my photographs tell the story of the event from beginning to end in the way the client wants it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the days leading up to their event or photography request date, I work closely with the client to understand the event schedule and timing, the important people in attendance, the "must-have" photos, the style of head shots or portraits, and what kinds of food I will get to photograph.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am mostly self-taught in photography, but have taken classes at the New England School of Photography.

My Corporate and Private-Event rate is $125 per hour
For Business and Corporate Head Shots, I have different pricing depending on the number of individuals.
How did you get started in this business?
After being the "party and friend" photographer for many years, always with a pocket camera on hand, I finally purchased my first "real" camera in early 2014 and started volunteering for different charity events. This led to a catering business offering to hire me for pay in early 2015.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many Corporate Event Planners, charity organizations, businesses and companies looking for employee-head shot updates for their websites, restaurants and food-delivery services.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was hired last year by the daughter of a couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone at the event was so wonderful and easy to interact with. The guests of honor were absolutely terrific, and hilarious when given a chance to reminisce to the people in attendance.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure the photographer has the right kind of experience for the event you are having.
Make sure the photographer listens to any requests you may have for must-have photos, and understands the flow of the event.
