What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a discovery call to get an idea and feel for your personality as a couple and what you are looking for in a wedding film. From there we walk through options to build a package that would fit all your needs.
From there it's on to despoit and prep for the big day. On the day of your wedding we work as inobtrusive as possilbe to capture as many moments as we can. Our work is heavy on narrative so we make sure to get solid audio and visual of any moment where you or someone is speaking. Be in vows, speaches or a reading.
After the wedding we take all those narratvei bits and build a story that we fill in with visuals. Out goal is to create something that can transport you back to those feelings and emotions. We don't want to just make a pretty music video style film, we want sustance and WHY you love each other.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had a camera in my hands since I was 13. My passion with telling stories through cinema flows into all kinds of projects from Music videos, brand films, commercials and TV content, but nothing quite makes me ahppy like capturing a live, unscripted day focused around family and love. Being from a live event world I've learned to be able to capture that one chance moment under presure and just be ready and present.
