What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am probably the most awkward person ever , so I am pretty good at making people feel comfortable. I try to run my sessions in a more natural way to get genuine reactions rather than stand and pose.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying film photography since 2000. I took classes all through highschool and college for film photography. Since graduating I switched to digital in 2009, and have taken correspondence classes. I also continue to take webinars and other extended sources for learning.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Since everyday is so different there are price points, but no set prices because everyone needs something different.
How did you get started in this business?
I've never thought about doing anything else.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with all type of people and income.

Wedding days are my absolute favorite to capture .
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at portfolios and ask questions. Your photographer is there for so much more than taking your images. When looking at the portfolio look for consistency in work and editing style. Find an editing style you like and don't expect your photographer to deliver outside what their portfolio shows you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Think about harder situations you may be putting the photographer in and make sure you include all your needs. For my wedding we had a large portion of it at night. We wanted firework images etc. So for me it was important that my photographer had the equipment to deal with very little to no lighting. . These are the types of things you want to make sure your photographer can handle before your day. You don't want to leave out details that determine equipment brought.
