I have been taking sports pictures for 10 plus years. I started taking pictures of my son at his soccer games. This expanded to taking pictures of all the players on his team(s). I started to get requests to photograph my friends' athletes and then their friends and so on. I find that most parents wish to enjoy the games and take “mental images” instead of pictures. I also find that most parents/family either use a phone camera and or a point-and-shoot type camera to capture the action.
