Outdoor action events is my favorite playground. I enjoy snatching that perfect shot, at the exact moment portraying the adrenaline rush the subject is seeking while participating in an event. Also enjoy working with animals, specializing in equine, and handlers to capture the connection the two have while working or performing. When covering an event, natural or non-staged photos are those capturing the special memories attendees want to take home for a keepsake.
In covering an event or being part of the promotion, it starts from the planning / setting up stage. I enjoy capturing the behind the scenes happenings as well as the main event. This offers a full view of the event for future planning or holding to memories. I have been hired several times 'because I tell the whole story' and I guess that is the way I look at a job.
Dixie Pix has a wide portfolio of action photos as well as individuals and family members. My training has been hands on for around ten years.
