Photography has always been of interest to me and something that I have practiced, even if just casually in the early years, since I was young. My father took a lot of photos and his camera was an object of interest.
I began shooting seriously while writing about music about 12 years ago, mostly out of necessity, which evolved into taking photos almost every day in some form. I feel that photography can be it's most interesting when the image captures an unplanned moment and emotion not prepped for the camera.
I love capturing an image that stirs some sort of reaction. Whether it be an emotion that was in the moment, an angle that provided a unique view of an object, or the perfect storm of color, light, and feeling that enduces a real emotion.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to take time to understand the subject a bit more to gain insight into what their personality may be like. Understanding what types of images appeal to them while incorporating elements of their personality is my goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of shooting all types of photography. Live music, landscape, portrait, in the moment, animals (pets), and products.
