About
I pay special attention to lighting, posing, the background, mood and comfortability of my clients to ensure great shots. I have done sports photos in the rain to have unique shots. I had the privilege of being the only photographer to have a photo purchased among a stock photography contest with 1500 photo candidates. Portrait photography is my specialty and I enjoy meeting people and making connections. I enjoy the process of getting the perfect photo. I enjoy doing great work for my clients!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to talk with you to establish their needs and preferences. Then I determine what eqipment or props would be necessary, the location candidates, and discuss those and other aspecs like wardrobe and time of day for the shoot with the customer to ensure the best shoot possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photoshop, Lightroom, Camera Raw, posing, editing, retouching, studio lighting, DSLR camera usage, posting to social media
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes! In general, my pricing starts at $85/hr for outdoor shoots that do not require extra equipment or services. Some exceptions can be made to this on an individual basis if needed.
How did you get started in this business?
I began by just taking photos because I enjoyed it! Family and friends events, scenery, etc. Then in 2018, I started attending Instagram photographer/model meetups and retouching and posting to Instagram. I enjoyed the photoshoots and editing so much that later that year I started Balloon Photography.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have successfully provided photography and retouching services for baby showers, low-budget weddings, models, food delivery companies, local actors and businesses, and a fashion boutique.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I organized a dance rain shoot that produced some outstanding photos. I learned a lot about lighting, posing and working in a studio environment in a rain setting. It was a unique experience, and one I hope to do a lot more of.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Pay attention to the photo edits in choosing a photographer, the flexibility, the relationship and work with your photographer to help them deliver the type of photos you envision. Seek a photographer whose style you like in the particular genre and it will be easier to get the results you like. But with that in mind, photographers in-general should be very flexible with the type of edits and moods they can create. Discuss this with your photographer for the best outcome.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is it an indoor or outdoor event? What are the expected time requirements? Would you like your photos retouched and if so, how many photos? Would you like prints or only digitals? What equipment does the photographer have available to them? Can the photographer accomodate my needs?
