Kay's Photography
About
I am a photographer who shoots whatever is eye catching or asked to be shot. I like to see things not only from my perspective but from others as well. I love to capture off guard moments of people and animals because those show what's happening in that there and now time. I like finding different angles to capture things like nature or architecture and such because things can be seen very differently in different angles.
I make my work fun and relaxed so not only I but others can enjoy my work
I enjoy the fun in it. I enjoy meeting new people, making people happy. I enjoy being in nature and capturing the moments around me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First greeting of course! I like a simple introduction and learning about the person I am working with to know what's going on and how their style flows. Then we get ready for the photos wanted or needed and go from there. I encourage natural, comfortable poses and smiles (through laughter even fake laughter to help bring out the real smiles) rather than forced smiles
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Actually, none. I am self trained on this. I really picked this up as a hobby and thought I'd leave it at that but photography became apart of me, it is fun and became something as simple as 123 for me
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
It depends. Typically it's by the hour or by the photo. Some sessions arent always long enough to be by the hour
How did you get started in this business?
The begining of my high school career I started playing more and more with my phone camera, took some great photos, discovered the pro setting and photoshop apps that my love grew from there. I love the view of things so when I get to capture moments it's perfect for me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with children, my own sibling, I actually worked for lifetouch preschool photos for a bit, and a big big family which was my first biggest gig!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Family photos of a rare time for this family to even gather up in one place at the same time!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Trust your instinct, make sure you vibe with your photographer, check out their work and go from there :)
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Pricing ofcourse
Where and when is very important to know
And making sure schedules match up well :)
