Great Day! My name is Chef Terrence. Throughout my career, I have been a Executive Banquets Chef as well as Sous Chef. I have worked in numerous restaurants and hospitality venues over 25+years. I’ve been cooking since 9 years old. My Mom was self taught and always admired how she could create a dish from scratch. While growing watching my Mom, both Grandmothers as well as other family members cook delicious meals, I noticed how great food brought us all together. Benjamin Roots LLC is a Personal Chef/Catering business. It was created to be able to share my love and passion for preparing multiple authentic dishes of amazing food that will remind you of home.     When working with a customer, I’m sure to pay attention to all their requests. I come a background where my father was a drill Sergeant so Im always thorough and Communication is everything, so I pay close attention to each detail and assure that no leaf 🍃 is left unturned.

    I've worked with over many Chefs throughout my career.  Ive been a Banquet Server, Bartender, Cook, Lead Cook as well as Sous Chef for Marriott and Hilton Hospitality Hotels.

    Pricing based on contact's selection of food, additional supplies needed, and depending on travel distance.

    Due to the pandemic, I no longer work at Marriott.  I decided that if I could cook for thousands for another company, why not start my own.

    My most recent event was a baby shower for 100 guest.  

    When making food selections, its a great idea to think about what is being selected and holding times.  Its also to think of cooking equipment if needed (stove/oven/warmers/holding space).
