A true foodie at heart, Lily grew up up exposed to different cuisines on the island of Mauritius. Lots of fond memories and lively conversations were had around the dinner table with family and friends.
Over the years, Lily enjoyed cooking at home and hosting many dinner parties. When came the time in 2014 to leave behind a hectic corporate life as an engineer, Lily naturally started connecting and working clients. Lily believes in the power of good food to connect people. She is passionate about cooking and sharing real, good tasting recipes that create lifestyle changes through food. Lily creates delicious and approachable recipes using real ingredients to bring family and friends to the dinner table.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule an initial phone call so I get to know your needs including food preferences and schedule.
Then, I work on the menu planning and email new clients the first week's menu. We may exchange couple rounds of emails to finalize on the menu. I take care of the grocery list and shopping.
I use venmo for grocery shopping reimbursement. And I invoice bi-weekly for my hours.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Cooking School of Life! I grew up surrounded by my Dad and my maternal Grandma cooking. I've been cooking all my life. Our love for food and cooking runs in the family.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My rate usually is around $250-300/week, depending on the client's meals planning and preferneces.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've work with individuals as well as families, providing highly personalized meals plans on a weekly basis. I've also catered to any diet modifications such as Whole30, vegetarian or dairy-free, etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I believe that food is energy. I am at my happiest when I am cooking and getting to share the food with clients is the icing on the cake -- and that translates into the dishes, truly cooked with the secret ingredient i.e. love!
