Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love meeting our clients in person (in our studio) however because we also service destination weddings this is not always possible. A quick phone chat or FaceTime is the best way to start, this gives us a chance to see if we are a good fit for each other.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well I was a pediatric nurse prior to owning my own full time photography studio. During college I took photography courses but that was Years ago my main source of learn is from the mentoring classes I take. I believe photography and technique of photography is always changing for this reason I not only teach others but I take 2 mentoring programs ayear to continue to grow my skill as a photographer and business owner.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, we have packages however we pride our company on its ability to create a custom package that meets the needs of our clients budget.
How did you get started in this business?
I started taking photos when I was 16 on film (yes I'm getting old) and I actually still shoot on film (at times). Photography was a hobby that grew into more giving me the choice to leave my nursing career and work FT as a professional photographer.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types from very high end weddings to your more casual backyard wedding. We love them all!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This is a hard question because we feel so honored to take part in a wedding we feel close to all our couples.
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
We actually wrote a blog about this and it would be so much easier to read this (it won't all fit in the space given).
