What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know them on a one-on-one level, every customer has a unique set of needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have been in the service industry for 30 plus years. Owned my own place for 4 years. As a parent of four children, have thrown parties and hosted many occasions: communions, graduations, birthdays, showers, weddings, and funerals. No matter the occasion, it an be exactly how you envision in.
How did you get started in this business?
Nothing better than being with the everyday person, making their most special moments in life memorable.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Working in the hositaility buinsess you have customers from al walks of life, the casual, the fancy, the extreme, and the simple.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
On a personal level, my niece and nephew's communion. Being able to bring my whole family together and provide an intimiate meal for such a large group of people. In my buisness we started doing craft&sips. These are a very diferent type of events and were a fun challenge at first. Having the element of a project to be done around the dinner, changes the flow of the event.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't settle and be honest about your needs.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How much are you willing to spend? The needs of your guests and the host.
