My work focuses on capturing a moment in time, whether it's portraiture, lifestyle imagery, or just the perfect light. I love use of colores and finding ways to incorporate it that enhances the photos. Always experimenting with new techniques. And learning new ways to improve my work. When it comes to post production, I take my editing very serious while maintaining the integrity of the image.

Hello! My name is Monica Mendoza Layman and I love photography! I’ve always loved taking photos, but I just got into seriously at the beginning of 2023. I am mostly self taught, but I have taken photography courses. I love helping to create memories through photos. I love nature and wildlife photography, but I’m also starting to get interested in portrait, family photography. My photo style is more candid type shots than posed.
