Bacchanalia Ltd. Is a catering and event planning company. As a conglomerate, we offer our clients a network of skilled, local professionals to cover each aspect of their gathering. The business focus operates in two branches. Our first function is as your standard cater for hire. Our cuisine is comprised of all local, sustainable comestibles. Menus are individually created, per client, per event. We present access to several classically trained chefs, whose recipes celebrate ethic diversity and are readily augmented to accommodate special dietary considerations. Likewise, our Sommelier is on hand to craft wine or libation lists paired to any conceivable palate. From the ascetic side, Bacchanalia runs the complete spectrum of decorative possibility starting with floral design and reaching total site re-fabrication. Our consideration for up-cycle and carbon footprint reduction is evidenced through vintage table settings, repurpose, and conscious waste minimalism. This brings us to our second branch, event production. Bacchanalia Ltd hosts themed events, held at our venue, FollyFoot Farm in Carmel Valley. Feedback for the two events we’ve had since Bacchanalia relocated last September has been overwhelmingly positive. Do you have creative tendencies and a taste for sensual experiences. You’ve met your match!! Central themes include; Greco-Roman Mythos, Fantasy, Esoterica, Occultism, Contemporary Nature Worship, Era Reproduction, Costuming, and Recreations of Classic Literature. Bacchanalia Ltd. has been newly certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Counsel. We are verified by Duns & Bradstreet. Additionally, Bacchanalia is a certified Woman Owned Business with the Small Business Administration and an approved vendor for Monterey County, Cal-Gold, and the Federal Service Desk with the System for Awards Management with endorsements pending from California Green Business. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do custom menus for every event. Once the inital inquiry comes in I like to try and get people on the phone. That way they can tell me about any special requests, concerns, dietary considerations, etc. In all that when people feel heard they tell other stories. Mostly I like to listen but conversation doesn't flow if only one person is talking so I share stories of my own when they relate. I want to be a genuine as possible, as true to who I am. Maintaining a business is hard! Hasrder than anything I've ever done so it has to be on my own terms to be worth it. I may not be everyone's cup of tea but I would rather have that be the first thing on the table than try to force myself into a bad fit.
