If there were 6 stars, I’d give them. I hired Chris to do a surprise engagement shoot. Working with Chris felt more like partnering with a close friend. He helped collaborate on the plan, was flexible when I threw last minute changes at him left and right, and even showed up the day before to the site to make sure everything would be perfect. After the surprise he helped us with poses and even had found a close-by spot with an even better view than the one I had found. This pics came out incredible and I’ll treasure them forever.

I am so pleased to be giving Steve Fogel Photography a 5 star rating. Steve is so easy to work with - He is pleasant, professional, prompt and reasonably priced. An all-around good guy... We were visiting the Bay Area from Boston to celebrate my husband’s Birthday. All of our children and their partners came out to surprise him for the weekend. This is such a rare occurrence with everyone’s busy schedule that I decided (very last minute) to find a photographer to mark the occasion. I took a chance on fash.com and fortunately found Steve Fogel Photography. He answered me immediately and followed up several times before the photo shoot. The day he arrived was not quite ideal weather, but we wanted the pictures to be taken outside with the ocean as a backdrop. Steve took several pictures of our group, as well as pictures of the individual couples. We were able to view the photos when Steve returned a few days later and make our choices just before leaving to go home. Because we live on the East coast, our finished products will be shipped to us. Easy, breezy! We can’t wait to view our finished product, but we have seen all the photos and they are amazing! We are thrilled to have found Steve and will always remember such a wonderful weekend in California. Thanks Steve for everything!

OpenFire Photography is also great with live settings such as musical performances or dance - Drew really captures creative expression very well, honors the subject's vision while also offering his own artistic contribution and ideas.

Jody is the most amazing wedding photographer EVER. There were so many incredible pictures – too many to choose from so we ordered them all! Our pictures were truly pieces of art, not just photos. Jody was very professional and walked through what was important to us before the wedding so she was sure to capture all the shots we wanted. She was great with the parents and grandparents. So many of my friends have said to me “I wish I knew your photographer when we got married, she did such an unbelievable job”. Her photojournalist style captured our love in every picture and documented the joy in our family and friends who celebrated with us.

Jason took some SIP photos for our family recently...from a safe distance of course. He was 100000x wonderful to work with. It's a weird time and we had no expectations. Jason made us all feel so comfortable, easy to work with and was so good with our 2.5 years old and dog. He was kind, friendly and made everything so smooth for us. As parents working with a toddler can be unpredictable with their attention span but Jason worked his magic. In mid shoot, he set up extra lighting to make sure we got the perfect shot. We went with it and didn't think much. Then I get my pictures...and my wife cried seeing our family photo. It was the best Mother's Day gift and experience for her. I look forward in working with Jason again. I highly recommend you work with Jason if you want beautiful pictures.
