I’m Mary Dares, owner of West and Spring Photography. I’m an LGBTQ+ small intimate wedding and portrait photographer based out of Boston. I am the one behind the camera. The one guiding you every step of the way, and giving you direction, but mostly I’m there to capture your love and to tell your story. Essentially it’s all about you… your style, your vision. As a photojournalist, I approach a wedding as if I was shooting the “story” of your wedding day. Capturing the time as you get ready with your bridal party and following you through your day as you say your vows and enjoy your reception allows me to find both the special candid moments and the unseen details that make your wedding day extraordinary.
